These types of bridges are used over implants and are the ultimate in terms of fit, aesthetics and maintenance and can be used for partial and full arch bridgework. Also known as the “full arch bridgework with individual crowns cemented onto a pink porcelain fused to metal framework connected onto gold copings cemented onto custom made abutments screwed into the implants.”
The technique is ultra sensitive and costly.
This lady was referred to us by her practitioner from London and with mobility of her upper and lower teeth due to periodontal disease. She was overclosed with a retrognathic chin, due to Class 2 Div 1 occlusion. Her teeth were removed in stages so the that a fixed provisional could be used at all stages followed by placement of 8 upper implants. In the lower jaw she had a mandibular surgical enhancement followed by two implants and fixed crown work. She was restored at an increased vertical dimension.
