Gum lifts

Many people have nice smiles but show too much gum when they smile widely. Ideally, the top lip should finish level with the gum line or overlap it by 1-2 mm in a beautiful smile. If too much gum is showing it can ruin an otherwise lovely smile. The solution is a gum lift where some of the excess gum is removed. This is often done in conjunction with veneers or crowns.

This lady had crooked teeth with too much gum showing. She had a gum lift followed by veneers and crowns on her front teeth to give her a beautiful smile.
